“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
SDP is an experiential learning program. The quality of your learning is a function of the number of interactions you have with your teammates, peers, advisors, and industry professionals. The activities of the SDP program are designed to foster a collaborative community where we make these interactions rich and plentiful. Various activities are geared to provide feedback to help guide your research, design, and manufacturing processes. You’ll also play an important role in this community by sharing what you’re doing and what you’ve learned so others may benefit from your experiences.
All SDP teams are required to participate in the following activities:
- Provide content for project’s website
- Blog on the project’s progress
- Attend progress reviews
- Present and provide feedback at the quarterly peer reviews
- Create project posters for quarterly design reviews
- Attend and present at the quarterly design reviews
