For our fuel cell cooling system, our two members John and Allen have learned how to thread pipes from one of the engineers in engineering laboratory facility. We have submitted the purchase order for a big fan for the cooling system. Originally, we were planning on moving the fuel cell out of its current position; however, after much debate we decided to keep it in its current position since we already know where the ducting is and hurdles are already known. We now know where all the fuel cell wires lead, which will help us diagnose the issue.
For our model, we are looking into the health care cost benefits from using renewably produced electricity. By using renewably produced electricity, we will be able to reduce emissions from power plants. We will also look into the capital cost of installing our current design.
For the PV panel testing, we have purchased the metal necessary to mount the circuit to the unistrut. We are currently working on the potentiometer mount and our circuit has gone through the basic wiring necessary for the Arduino and breadboard. Since we cannot find a mounting system that will fit our solar panels, we have decided to purchase unistrut and build the system ourselves. The unistrut has arrived and we can start assembling the solar panel mount.
