This week the DIY micro controller came in, however the design did not come out the way we want it to be. The filament does not feed into the encasing correctly, nor does the cap completely cover the sensor. We designed and 3D printed a new encasing and we are running tests next week. We are currently designed new wheels, but we are considering using a different material and using latex to help with the latex issue. We currently just redesigned a final iteration of a mesh and decided we need 2 grinders within our system if the budget permits. This design still has a few problems with filament being stuck within the mesh, so we are considering designing a fork that pushes material back into the mesh and hopefully come back out towards the bottom. Two members on the team are now tackling the hydrolysis problem, considering using silica gels, an oven, and vacuum bags.
