This week, the team took steps to planning out of the remainder of the year so that we can close out the project by june. Our steps are to finish calculations on the test equipment so that we can adjust our gear ratio properly. WE also will begin writing test procedures and test plan for the equipment to make sure that we are within spec. The controls team is developing a method to monitor the rotation of the test bed accurately. This is important for our testing and for the control and accuracy of the rotation. Our manufacturing team is researching the gear ratio that we need and is designing a test mount for the bed.
