Constructing the Tank: Part 1

KTLUU1 2016-2017 Efficiency of Aquatic Locomotion Using Flippers

Last week we started the construction of the tank.

There were some minor set backs because we did not have the proper tools to cut the wood and PVC pipes. We started initial cuts for the tank’s walls. However, we still need to sand the parts down. Pictured is our Manufacturing Officer, Timothy Kelly, cutting part of the tank.

Bon Hope Kim and Damian Torres has drafted some fin design ideas, which we will begin 3D printing next week for our prototype.

This week, we plan to assemble the tank.
