We have refined our project goals to a portable, solar charged space heater that can be safely used in camping tents and left running while the user sleeps. We are currently deciding between using a phase change material (PSM) or thermo-chemical materials for storage. At the end of our meeting we split in to two groups with each set to research one of the two material types. For our meeting next week we will discuss our findings, pick the more viable option and subsequently the specific material within that category we want to use. Additionally, we will begin brainstorming design goals and innovations for the heater.
