The Circular UAV project aims to design, build, and fly an unmanned aerial vehicle with circular wing configuration. In the beginning of the designing process, we need to roughly calculate the weight of the vehicle, collect information about parts, and decide which to use.
So far, we got together and
1) decided to use one of the airfoil types between NACA 0015 and Clark Y
2) decided that the Circular UAV will be 3 feet in diameter.
3) looked up UAVs with similar sizes to get information about parts.
4) studied references to know more about the sizing for each part.
5) estimated the weight for the Circular UAV with the two different airfoil types.
