Our biggest accomplishment this week was that our team came in 5th place out of the 26 teams that participated for the winter peer review. Because we placed in the top 7, we were invited to present to industry representatives on March 11th. This quarter our team was more prepared due to the constructive criticism we received from the fall peer review. Our current goal is to make a poster for the winter design review for the mechanical/aerospace department and civil/environmental department due to two of our members being environmental engineering students. These two students are required to present on the civil side in order to fulfill their graduation requirements.

These past few weeks have been a scramble to send in purchase orders for our fuel cell coolant loop. In order to stay on schedule, we would like to finish the coolant loop construction by the end of this quarter so that testing and analysis can begin. There was a miscommunication, but the purchase order for the pump was sent in today. We have received all other materials such as radiator caps, hosing, mass flow controllers, and more.

The purchase orders for the solar panel testing components have also been ordered. Once these come in Mike will be able to retrieve voltage vs current (IV) curves.

John has created the first draft of our new test. The test plan lays out what data we want to gather and what we plan on learning from it. It also describes each individual components and how we plan on integrating it.
