This blog is devoted to documenting the progress of our MAE188 Automated Pipetting Robot project. Advised by Professor Farzad Akhmadkhanlou and Professor Vince McDonnell, and sponsored by Professor Tony Long, the goal of this project is to develop a robot that can efficiently move an array of 24 pipettes in order to transfer fluids, which will facilitate Professor Long’s research that requires pipetting yeast.
