Spring 2017 Week 2&3: Tank Progress and Electrical Components

KTLUU1 2016-2017 Efficiency of Aquatic Locomotion Using Flippers

For the past two weeks, Tim and Alex have been working tirelessly to finish up the tank. We can now fill the tank up with water, as shown in the pictured in this blog. This week, we plan to cut wood for the remaining parts of the tank and nail up the control box and the servo supports.

Also, Alex has completed the code to move the linear and rotational servos on Arduino INO. In the code, all of the servos depend on the right rotational servo. The left rotational servo moves in the opposite angle as the right. The linear servos move in percentage-wise with the right rotational servo, so that they extract as the right rotational servo has a smaller angle, and retract as it has a bigger angle. He hopes to also integrate the code on Labview.
