For week 4, our team was supposed to start the manufacturing. We got all the materials for fabrication, but the CNC router did not function properly and delayed our progress.
For week 5, to catch up with the timetable, our team
1) improved our fabrication models to be more efficient
2) had training and started the foam cutting process with the CNC router
3) spent hours each day and finished the cutting of the whole front wing for our first prototype.
4) resized the vertical stabilizers and the tail for more precision.
For the next week, we are going to continue our fabrication and stay on track.
