This week the team worked to optimize the accuracy of the test bed. The main modifications needed were from the mechanical side of the test bed to make sure that there is not any unwanted rotation on the testbed. Our goal for accuracy is within .1 degree and to do this it needs to be completely stable wihout any movement that are undesired. With these things improving, testing should begin shortly and a test procedure will need to be developed to assure that the machine is accurately rotating for the thermal pipes that will be on it. The team also participated in “Celebrate UCi” to showcase the project.
