We are focusing on creating new technology in the fields of autonomy, networking, sensing, and aircraft design. With a focus on vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capabilities, obstacle avoidance, and autonomous integration with people, our system explores research fields that are challenging and still unsolved.

The bigger picture goes far beyond the goal of the DARPA project — we are looking at innovative designs for UAV platforms, at sensor and communication frameworks for simplifying the prototyping and failure-proofing stages of system development and testing. In fact, much of what we do can go past UAV’s into other unmanned vehicle markets. Overall, we’re looking for more efficient, cheaper, cooler, and better ways of creating and using personal autonomous systems.
