Description
A Thermoelectric cooler (TEC) is a solid-state active heat pump which transfers heat from one side of the device to the other, with consumption of electrical energy. It uses the Peltier effect to create a heat flux between the junction of two different types of materials. The goal of this project is to use TEC for thermal bath therapies for the treatment of injury or disease and reduce a patient’s recovery time.
