Project retrospective presentations will be held on May 26th and 27th, 2016. There are 7 sessions total, 3 sessions on Day 1 and 4 sessions on Day 2. Check the sessions for the number of presentations they can accommodate.
Each team will have 12 minutes to present and 3 minutes for questions and answers. As a minimum, the presentations should cover the following:
The presentations will serve a few purposes:
1) Project retrospective – provide the teams with an opportunity to assess how the project went, a chance for reflection, to talk about what went well, and what could be done differently. The ultimate goal is to identify lessons learned.
2) ABET accreditation fulfillment – within 1) above, directly or indirectly answer a) a knowledge of contemporary issues, b) a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning, and c) understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
3) Junior preview – members of the Junior class are invited and encouraged to attend these sessions as a preview for what to expect and the challenges facing them in Fall quarter.
