Hello Everyone,

DBF 2017 to 2018 has some updates for all of you regarding the direction of the team’s design process. The previous flight test has informed us of the lowest possible span that allows for pilot control. Moving onward, the team is now exploring two short-spanned configurations and developing aircraft to understand flight characteristics and decide on a specific configuration.

From the management perspective, the team has adopted a modified task system that is intended to streamline processes and give clearer responsibility of tasks. Also, specific scheduling charts will soon be created for the manufacturing and testing.

Each member is currently working on an aspect of the design report and evaluating different configurations for the design of the aircraft. The team hopes that this evaluation and documentation will allow us to defend decisions in the report.
