There are still some modifications needed to be made to the rotating mechanism in subsystem 1. Minor adjustment are being to the motor, and star ball. The codes, however was added to our main control system, subsystem 4, and has integrated well. Subsystem 2 has also been integrated with subsystem 1 and 4, the unit is able to dispense both supplement and food, but not perfected yet. A different dispensing cartridge is being considered due to potential air leak in the current cartridge. Data collected for subsystem 2 has been inconsistent with both the oil and the water. The pressure inside the cartridge is what make the rubber piston to move down and this will only occur if air is pressurized consistently which is why we are assuming its this component that need to be modified. We have order new cartridges and testing will re-initiate soon. Subsystem 4 as mention before is able to control the presetting for testing and is able to combine all components into one whole system. The housing component subsystem 3 has finalize the design for review. This quarter we will not be manufacturing the CAD drawing we are manufacturing a much simpler housing that will just hold all component in place to demonstrate the concept.
