We have pretty much finished manufacturing optimizations for the quadflapper. Our current quadflapper can be seen on the attached image. Now, the next step is to finish the manufacturing of one of the active pitching mechanisms and then apply this mechanism onto the individual “flappers” on the quadflapper. We are hoping to have the manufacturing finished by week 9 and have the implementation finished that same week.

Regarding our test rig, the main frame has been completed. We are now working on wiring all of the sensors and lights so that we can continue our observations and study of vibrational stability.

Our team is also prepping our final presentation for the Beall Student Design Competition and for the Ingenuity project showcase. Wish us luck!
