This is the first lecture for Senior Design Projects. All students looking to enroll or are enrolled in MAE189 must attend this lecture.

Purpose:  Peer reviews promote active learning, formative assessment, healthy competition, and community building. This exercise requires the teams to share responsibility for their learning and improvements to their projects. The critiques provide feedback from alternate perspectives allowing opportunities for growth. The students work harder to create a polished presentation knowing the audience is their peers. The lecture and discussion on the MAE189 Project Discovery portion of the engineering design process will be this Thursday, 16-November, at 8:30 pm in RH101. We will go through the template and try to sprinkle in some examples. We will also answer your general questions or questions specific to your project.
