The Senior Design Program (SDP) provides Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering majors with hands-on learning experience and professional development through engaging and innovative engineering projects that bridge academic fundamentals with real world challenges. SDP is the culmination of everything the students have learned at the University of California, Irvine. The students form teams for design competitions, research, industry, and student inspired projects. All projects are under the guidance and supervision of faculty advisor(s).
